Code base used · SMT All-in-One + Roman Essentials v0.1

Target stack for Nitro CRT. Versions per /workspace/smt-python/VERSION_LOG.md.

Code base
SMT_AllinOne + Roman v0.1: Python power-test surface pinned 2026-09-25; smt_strategy/allinone/, CLI smt_strategy/run_smt_allinone_roman.py.
Order manager
Roman Essentials Host v0.1 (pinned 2026-09-24). Param bag essentials_params_full.json, version 2026-09-25: 294 params across 11 categories and 37 groups.
Entry plugin
Nitro CRT plugin v1 (nitro_crt_v1, 2026-09-24) is entry-only: it sends entry signals, and Roman Essentials/ZZ manages the trades (size, stops, TP ladder, session, max trades, trailing).
Ninja (reference)
Full SMT Strategy V3 (AllinOneStrategy) on PC2.

Honesty line: today's Nitro CRT backtest (run_nitro_crt_a_rebreak_bt.py, 10 stocks, clean data: −$86,953, PF 0.90, 370 trades) used a simplified Roman-style order-management stand-in (one stop, one target, 0.5% risk, max 2/day), not the full stack. It has not yet been run through the full All-in-One + Roman order manager. Source: smt-python/results/nitro_crt_weekly_clean_2026-10-01/compare_summary.json (STOCKS_COMBINED).

Summary bullets 26

(en-orig captions; t = video mm:ss; chart times ET)

Main logic

  • CRT = a 15m/30m/1H candle sweeps the previous candle's high (or low) and closes back inside its range. Price is then expected to travel to the opposite end of the range (08:30).
  • Top-down every day: 1H bias first, then the 1m chart with a 15m/30m/1H candle overlay to catch the first CRT after the market open (11:10, 07:51).
  • 1H bias = which side's 1H pivot got taken out and then reversed. Pivot = the last point before a massive reversal (02:50–04:44). Extra confluence: 1H order block rejection (15:52); a cluster of highs swept plus a range that rejected price 4–5 times (18:38).
  • A+ = (1) bias confirmed, (2) first CRT of the day with the bias, (3) clean movement (21:39). Choppy = A (16:44). No bias = B/C, take the first CRT regardless or skip (08:05).
  • Watch MNQ, MES, MGC together and trade the one with a clear bias plus a with-bias CRT. None qualifies → no trade that day (14:09–15:39).

Entry rules

  • Trigger: price breaks the middle candle's (C2's) opposite extreme: the low for shorts, the high for longs (08:42, 16:56, 22:17).
  • Mode: "retest… rebreak… or direct entry, whatever you want" (21:00). His live preference is to wait for a rebreak (21:11 + Discord), and it cost him two A+ winners.
  • Direction must match the 1H bias. A counter-bias CRT was his loss (05:08–06:09).
  • Executed on the 1m chart.

Stop logic

  • Stop distance = TP distance / 1.5 → fixed 1.5R. "drag… until I get to around 1.5… 1.49" (08:48); "stop loss is where we're going to have our 1.5R" (17:46); "1.5R from that TP" (21:26). On screen R:R 1.42–1.59.
  • [AMBIG] Once (09:31): "stop loss will be at that high that we marked out".
  • Break-even only when price is ~1 tick from TP and wicking or failing. Never after one opposite candle (10:32–11:10).

Target logic

  • The opposite end of the CRT range: "TP is going to be at the low of this 30-minute candle" (17:46), "opposite end of the candle" (21:26). Boxes show the C1 range.
  • Set it and let it ride to TP or SL.

Risk filters

  • Skip no-news Mondays ("most trash days", 01:59–02:25).
  • Skip FOMC day unless perfect (11:37–12:53).
  • Thu/Fri have cleaner follow-through, so be less hesitant (13:07). Tue decent (06:58). A news day is "wonderful" (18:00).
  • No 1H bias: skip, or take a B/C first CRT (07:37).
  • Chop downgrades the grade (16:44).
  • Quality over quantity: don't fire at every CRT (23:07).

Timeframes

  • Bias: 1H. CRT: 15m / 30m / 1H (take the first that forms; "we had 1 hour and 15. I played 15", 09:19). Execution: 1m.

Sessions

  • NY from the market open (09:30 ET). Every shown entry falls between 10:11 and 11:52 ET. Asia trades exist but weren't included (24:36). No end time is stated.

Instruments

  • MNQ, MES, MGC (micros); "works for every single asset" (02:38).

Exceptions / notes

  • Monday with-bias long (E2) worked, yet the Monday rule is still skip.
  • He skipped the Fri MNQ and MES A+ trades (both hit TP) because he wanted a rebreak.
  • No sizing rule and no max trades/day are stated (implied: the first CRT of the day).

1Strategy write-up

Main logic
15m/30m/1H CRT: C2 sweeps a C1 extreme, closes back inside, and delivery is expected to reach the opposite C1 extreme; select a first, with-bias, clean CRT after top-down 1H analysis.
Entry
On 1m, break the C2 opposite extreme; break, retest, rebreak, or direct entry are allowed, with a stated live preference for rebreak (08:42, 21:00–21:11).
Stop
Set TP first and place the stop at TP distance / 1.5 for about 1.5R (08:48, 17:46, 21:26). One ambiguous line places it at a marked high (09:31). BE only near TP if failing (10:32–11:10).
Target
Opposite end of the CRT/C1 range (17:46, 21:26); set-and-forget to TP or SL.
Risk filters
Skip no-news Mondays, FOMC unless perfect, no-bias/choppy days, and symbols without a clear with-bias CRT; quality over quantity (01:59–02:25, 07:37–08:05, 16:44, 23:07).
Timeframe
1H bias; CRT 15m/30m/1H, first that forms; execute on 1m; NY from 09:30, shown entries 10:11–11:52 ET; Asia exists but no exact window in this card.
Exceptions
MNQ/MES/MGC rotation; no sizing or max-trades rule stated. Monday exception: a with-bias Monday trade worked; two A+ trades were skipped waiting for rebreak.

2Already in All-in-One

  • CRT geometry: run_nitro_crt_a_rebreak_bt.py::detect_and_simulate (sw_lo/sw_hi, inside) and sweep_2026-09-29/sweep_core.py::gen_candidates
  • Opposite-C1 target: run_nitro_crt_a_rebreak_bt.py::detect_and_simulate target_mode="c1_opposite"; sweep_core.py::TARGETS
  • Set-and-forget exit scan: run_nitro_crt_a_rebreak_bt.py exit loop / allinone_v4/engine.py::_exit_scan (stop/target only when BE disabled)
  • AIO htf.py::Bias1H and levels.py::detect_levels expose reusable 1H swings/OBs (not wired to CRT).

Playbook summary what this video teaches
  • Setup: CRT. A 15m/30m/1H candle (C2) sweeps the prior candle's (C1) high or low and closes back inside; price is expected to reach C1's opposite end.
  • Bias: 1H pivot taken out then reversed (optional 1H OB rejection). Trade with bias only; his counter-bias CRT was the loss.
  • Timeframe: CRT on 15m/30m/1H, first that forms; execute on 1m; NY from 09:30 ET (shown entries 10:11-11:52 ET), no end time stated.
  • Entry: 1m break of C2's opposite extreme. Break, retest, rebreak or direct all allowed; his live preference is rebreak (cost him two A+ winners).
  • Stop/target: TP at C1's opposite extreme; stop = TP distance / 1.5 (about 1.5R, screens 1.42-1.59). BE only ~1 tick from TP and failing; otherwise set-and-forget.
  • Filters: skip no-news Mondays, FOMC unless perfect, no-bias and choppy days. A+ = bias + first CRT with bias + clean movement.
  • Instruments: watch MNQ/MES/MGC, trade the one with a clear bias and with-bias CRT. No sizing or max-trades rule stated.

(b) Detection and entry logic

  1. Build clock-aligned 15m/30m/1H bars; on each close test C2 sweep of C1 + close inside; take the first TF to qualify.
  2. Gate direction with the 1H bias (pivot swept then reversed); no bias = skip (or grade B/C).
  3. On 1m, trigger when price trades through C2's opposite extreme (or break, retest, rebreak if that mode is chosen).
  4. TP = C1 opposite extreme; stop = entry -/+ (TP distance / 1.5).
  5. Pre-arm vetoes: no-news Monday, FOMC, 1m chop; pick one symbol from MNQ/MES/MGC.

(c) Already coded in our Nitro CRT implementation

  • C1/C2 sweep + close back inside: run_nitro_crt_a_rebreak_bt.py::detect_and_simulate (sw_lo / sw_hi, inside, c2_edge_tol_frac=0.0), on 5m bars only (resample_ohlc '5min').
  • Bias: run_nitro_crt_a_rebreak_bt.py::_bias_series bias_mode='ema20_50' on 15m (last completed bar at C2 close); counter-bias skipped.
  • Entry: A+ rebreak only. Pullback past the C2 body midpoint ((c2.open+c2.close)/2), then a 5m close beyond the C2 opposite extreme; a first break without pullback is skipped (gate b_pack_no_pullback). 5m close back through the sweep extreme cancels.
  • Stop: beyond the C2 sweep extreme, floored by run_nitro_crt_a_rebreak_bt.py::min_stop_distance (stocks max($0.05, 0.05% of price); NQ 5 pts). Structural, not TP-anchored.
  • Target: run_nitro_crt_a_rebreak_bt.py::detect_and_simulate target_mode='c1_opposite' (long = C1 high, short = C1 low); skip if R:R < min_rr=0.5 (rr_fallback_R=None).
  • Set-and-forget: 1m stop/target scan from the fill, flat at eod_flat 16:00 ET; no BE or trail.
  • Session/caps: SESSION_START 09:30 to SESSION_END 12:00 ET, max_per_day=2 (MAX_TRADES_PER_DAY), one position at a time, RISK_PCT=0.005.
  • Plugin nitro_crt_v1: python/signal_contract.py::build_signal only formats an entry signal (trigger_price, stop_hint, target_hint); ninja/NitroCRT_Entry_v1.cs is a stub (EmitOnly=true, session + RequireHtfBias knobs, no C1/C2 detector). Roman Essentials/ZZ is the order manager.
  • Research only: backtests/sweep_2026-09-29/sweep_core.py grids 15/30/60m range bars, 15m/1h/4h EMA bias, 1R/1.5R/2R targets, 'immediate' (C2-close) entry, maxday 1/2. Not in the runner or plugin; verdict NO PROMOTION (SUMMARY.json).
