FVG continuation locked rules template one
FVGC
Template coded in system: Partial
No template yaml. An older All-in-One playbook exists: smt-python/config/source_of_truth/03_riley_fvg_candlebreak (09:30–10:15, FVG then candle break, FVG SL+RR; review flag UseFVGEntryBarCloseAboveBelowPrior).
The trade in his words
Pick a draw on liquidity (unmitigated 5m-4H FVG). Trade only 09:30-10:15 ET. When price delivers into a FVG without a body close past its 50%, enter on the candle that closes beyond the previous candle high/low. Stop beyond the FVG or swing; fixed 1:1 (or 1:2) target.
A+ checks 70 tagged trades (no structured trade records yet)
A+ setup checklist (all must pass)
R1 Draw on liquidity chosen first (unmitigated 5m-4H FVG) A962uZmFwq0 @ 8:48 · “for step number one, we have to sort of find a draw on liquidity ... I chose this 15minute unmitigated gap as my target”
R2 Price delivers into the FVG (requirement) OyMK6EkD8s0 @ 2:59 · “price is now delivered into the fav value gap which is a requirement”
R3 No body close past 50% of the FVG Pt6thlEY24c @ 2:54 · “you can never have a candle close below the 50%”
R4 Entry: candle closes beyond the previous candle high/low SoTh5YxOgLg @ 8:22 · “all you want to see is price close above that candle. And that is literally where you enter”
R5 Stop beyond the FVG or the swing point NDiZPXsXQSo @ 5:00 · “put your stop above the fair value gap or above the swing point”
R6 Fixed 1:1 (or 1:2) target SoTh5YxOgLg @ 8:22 · “you're targeting a one one or a one to two fixed risk-to-reward”
R7 Window 09:30-10:15 ET 4Gp2cMfzPac @ 13:10 · “I trade this setup between 9:30 and 10:15 a.m. Eastern Standard Time every single day”

Lock the rules before testing
Every rule is written in full as a parameter list (sessions, setup conditions, entry, stop, target, max trades, bias) with a version number and a date before any data is run. Nothing changes once testing starts. Any change is a new version, and that version starts again at rule 1.
Name the instrument and the data file. Times are New York time, prices are rounded to the tick, and contract roll weeks are removed. The same cleaned data is used in every window.
This is the only window where settings can be adjusted. Rank settings by net profit after commission. Anything with fewer than 100 trades doesn't qualify. Keep the top 20 and lock them.
Out-of-sample: 1 May to 31 Jul (three months test)
Run the locked settings once, exactly as they are. No changes after seeing the results. A setting passes if it makes a net profit and has a profit factor above 1.
A trade only counts if it passes the trader's written A-plus checklist at entry: right session, liquidity swept, bias agrees, entry model confirmed, and stop and target where the checklist says. Failures are logged as B or C trades and kept out of the results.
Every known real A-plus trade from the trader's videos or posts is traced through the A-plus definition, each filter (session, bias, sweep, timeframe, news, caps), the Roman/ZZ entry path (trigger, confirmation, order type, expiry) and the fill. Record the exact step where each one dies. Misses are fixed in the next version, never the current one.
Every result shows, in order: test number, instrument, length in words, average trade, profit factor, win rate, equity curve; then average signed ticks, trade count and drawdown.
Windows run in order, with no extra out-of-sample passes and no retuning after a peek. Under 100 trades or under about three months is a diagnostic, not a pass.
